Default Coil Spring Rest Plate ( Is that the wrong name?)

My XJ is noticeably leaning passenger side. All I can see when it's parked or driving.
I'm noticing the driver side coil spring is resting on a plate, or cup, whichever is correct.
Passenger side seems to almost be resting on the axle. Am I missing something, or am I just finding a new issue.
Thanks for any insight

Cheers

It looks like you bump stops have also rotted away, but yeah, post more pics of the bottom of the spring on the driver's side.

They call that the sunfish. Or was it a perch?

I don't see anything wrong there.

This is what a bad spring perch looks like:

Not completely rotten away. I can still see part of one bouncing arround inside the spring. They're fairly cheap, just a little work to get them in pushed back there.

Check the rubber coil spring insulators at the top of the spring. They can rot away to pretty much nothing like the bumpstops

you're looking at the wrong end. if your jeep is leaning, it will have something to do with the leaf springs. coil springs don't sag, they will only bow. look at your leaf springs. been there, done that. more than once...

there any way to check these before I shell out the cash? (Gotta swap in pairs, right?)

Forgive my newbie questions

Measure from top of the wheel well to the center of the wheel (not the official way, but it's what "everyone" does).

better yet, crawl underneath and measure top of axle housing to uni beam on all 4 points. That will give an exact answer
