I did 2"
I just did 2" spacers and the directions I got were very Lame. I had to go too autozone and borrow a coil spring compressor tool. I just had to leave a deposit and got it all back afterwards. The first thing I had problems with was the bumpstops not sure on all but on my 87 they unscrew, I used a big pipe wrench to get them loose(on the metal base not the rubber part). After i was done i figured if I would of just disconnected the upper arms the axle would have pivoted and dropped farther down and it would have been easier to get the coils back on. I might have the directions still if you needed them. Good luck I'm no mechanic I did it so It's pretty easy

if you can just twist the rubber part of the bumpstop on the bottom out you should be fine using a hammer. i used a hard rubber hammer on my 3" spacers and they went right on after a few whacks. good luck, youll find its much easier than you thought

Lots of people do this the hard, dangerous way and use coil compressors. all you need to do is the following
1) put vehicle on jackstands, place them right behind LCA pockets on the frame, and remove the wheels.
2) Take a large ratchet strap put it around the axle and the swaybar- center this on the axle. It will keep the axle from rotating
3) loosen and remove the rear LCA bolt on the side you wish to start on.
4) Loosen the retainer screw for the brake line so you have some slack in the line.
5) Remove lower mounts for the shock.
6) remove the coil spring retainer (right by the lower shock mount)
7) Place a jack under the opposite side knuckle and raise it as high as possible.
8) Your coil should be just about ready to fall out.
9) remove the coil, install the spacer.
10) You may need to put your foot on the upper balljoint to make it easy but you will now be able to reinstall your coil with very little effort.
11) reverse the process but do not fully tighten the LCA bolts until you are finished with both sides and the jeep is back on the ground. Then tighten to specified torque and you are done.
I've done this several times with no difficulty at all. you may require the services of an assistant to step on the upper ball joint for you but it can be done solo.
Do note Stutter's advice he is correct I forgot that one. It's late!

No and Yes. If you disconnect the sway bar, trackbar, and lower arms your axle will droop more than enough to get the coils out and in without any compressor. I usually remove the bumpstops from inside the coil cuz it's easier get the coil out.

and you don't need to remove the lower control arms from the axle to install the spacer either....
i've done a number of coil lifts.... and spacer lifts and the only ones i've need to pull the LCA on was 4.5 lift and bigger......

It's all about technique. We've given you enough intel to do the job. I will say if you are going to do this you may want to look at replacing the track bar. At that height another stock one will do and you can get a LLT one from most autoparts stores. Enough talk! Go do the job and post the pictures!

Not unless you disconnect your front swaybar and wheel it HARD. Remove the retainer bolt in the wheelwell, bend your brakelines so they move more straight downward , drill new hole and reinstall retainer screw. Drive and Smile. Why don't you just drive over here and I'll talk you through the process in my garage. I'll sit in a chair, drink an RC Cola and help you learn about your jeep. Rear brake line needs an extension see howlerGT's products, so simple my 10 year old daughter could install them!
