Hello everyone. So I am having an issue with my XJ 2001 4.0 2WD. When I start it up first thing in the morning, it cranks for a bit then it either idles super rough and then revs up to normal Revs, or it chokes up and doesn’t start and on the second key it starts up normal. The first start is always very rough. When the jeep has been running a while it turns on perfectly fine no issues. I have replaced the following, air filter, coil, spark plugs, fuel injectors, battery. I do notice a smell of gas also when I first start it up every morning. Once it’s on, it runs perfectly fine. No rough idles after the first start. I have also cleaned out the entire throttle body and IAC valve. Any help is appreciated! Thank you so much!

Given what you have already done and the symptoms if it were mine I would put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if/how long it takes for the pressure to drop after you shut it down. I'm thinking an injector may be leaking down
