Years ago if the temperature was going to go down really cold we would stick a trouble light under the hood near the battery.
The 100 watt light provided enough heat to give the old engines a chance and warming the battery increases its useable power.
Ideally a block heater would be best but considering your power limitations the old light trick may help you. Just remember to take the light out and if you actually do the block heater then remember to unplug it!
I have a 2001 that sits outside for weeks and months at a time, it starts first shot every time, even in the -36 we had the other morning, good battery and fuel injection definitely help.

Hey Sails! -36! I forget sometimes how cold it really gets outside of the city! Bet you've been getting a ton of use out of the XJ in recent week.

Yep ye-old stab-lok. I even told my landlord I will foot the bill to buy a new box if he installs it. Well pays to have it installed. Hence the reason I put one of my wife's kitchen timers right above with a whole house activation. (If one smoke alarm sounds they all go off.) Yes the wiring is that bad lol.

Careful, this year insurance companies have dropped ppl if they found out the had fed pac panels. Gives me lots of work but yea, they are dangerous. High failure rate in tripping.

Hell, the code today, almost all circuits need to be combination arc fault protected to prevent fires and shocks and dedicated circuits

I've got some Stab-Lok breakers I can send. There's a pile of that **** at the office, it's a '70s-era strip mall lol. You can certainly buy new replacements. Our panels are branded Federal Pioneer, new ones are red handles and white bodies.
This place here was built in the 50s. Main loads outside of the kitchen were a single radio, a single TV, and some lights. No computers, no dehumidifiers, no heaters, no air conditioners... My kitchen is at least up to some spec though, three or four circuits aside from the stove.
99ZombieSport's place sounds like it wasn't built to any code ever devised ever. Maybe he has ****-and-tube or lives in an un-insurable shack
**** that drives me insane. AFCI breakers are the biggest scam... $70 vs $7 and the stupid things trip if you look at them! Load them up right and a CFL light bulb will kill them. Absolute junk. Luckily up here only bedroom circuits require AFCI protection, IIRC

I was reading about that with regards to home owners insurance. Haven't heard anyone who has renters dropped.

Its an older mobile home. The land lord is a family friend and was trying to help us out when I first got out of the Army and moved back up here to NY. He's usually pretty good at helping us out on issues like this, so I will just have to nudge him again.
Salad thanks for the offer, but I would just rather get that thing out of here. Any recommendations on something decent that would fit into a 16"x11" area? Sorry for getting this post a little off topic but now this panel is scarring me a little more then normal.

Ahh mobile home, that makes sense. I'm a big fan of Siemens just because I don't like the feel of Square D. Mind you I'm just a hobbyist, not an electrician (wired my own home and I do AC and DC power stuff at work where a license is not required).
There are a lot of small sub panels that could do the trick, it depends on whether you need a main breaker. If you don't check out Siemens EQL4100, it's a 4-space panel (8 circuits with mini breakers) rated at 100A and can do 240V if you need it. Up here it's like $43 at Home Depot and fits nicely in that spot. There should be a lot of other products in that category too, with and without main breakers. Or you can toss in an intermediate box I guess if space works out that way.
