I have a question concerning the lower control bars on the front of my 99 cherokee. I have a 3" lift right now but was gonna add another 1.5" to it. I had done this same thing on a 98 cherokee I had and it seemed to work ok other than with 4.5" of total lift as well as having a set of cut-out flares I could only run a 32X11.50-15. I believe that part of the reason was the wheel offset but I dont think I could have ran any bigger tire. My question is will the stock control bar work with the lift? I was told that it would work with up to 4.5" of lift before having to go with longer bars. Is this true that mine will work as long as I dont go any bigger than 4.5"?

it will work but the tire is going to be pulled more to the rear of the front fender new ones would be better

 

But how much lift can you go before needing them. The aftermarket ones I saw were the same length just angled different.
