La's over drop brackets...yep. Ox lockers? Never again. Had one in my Dana30 and hated it. Constently required cable adjustments. Melted two of the damn things as well. Now running e-lockers front and rear (D44).

Didn't they make some changes to the ox locker? I heard there were issues with it a couple years back, and then it disappeared off the shelves for a while and came back again.

I heard they are a pain in the *** to engage and disengage. Supposedly they fixed the problem...what ever that was.I like the e-locker but they use clutches in them and I've heard they don't completely lock up like a ARB does but for the money I think they would be alright.

I had one of the "New-ish" Ox and the locker did work when i could get it to engage. Some folks have used them without too many adjustments but that certainly wasn't my experience. the final straw was opening the diff and finding hardware laying in the bottom.

I've been running the E-lockers for about a year and have never had a problem with either of them locking the axles together. Push a button and it's locked, push again and it's unlocked.

Thanks Frank, that's good to know!! I have not heard much about them, good or bad, I just liked the simplicity of it's operation. Now that I have heard what you have said, I'll do some more research before I invest in anything, thanks!!
