COOL Hood Louvers!!!
Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about these louvers? I first saw them when I was running through a 4x4 mag and they seemed like a good mod (if you feel like cutting up your hood) but does anyone know if these let WATER in through the vents? and even if that would be a big deal because I'm located in Wash and it rains...ALOT! and im not sure if I want 2 basically BIG HOLES in my hood?! but the plus side is the engine/underhood temp and they look pretty cool too! any inputs?

Anything that let heat escape from under the hood is great. If you want louvers use the Dodge from a junk yard , you can use a 4" deck plate from a boat shop or just raise the rear of the hood 1/2"

If you're worried about rain getting in thru the louvers, you could always fab up a baffle system that mounts underneath to limit that... Just an idea.

there are several types that you can pull from the jy i just cant remember them right now..... if the things arent too big it wont be that bad because water gets on the engine anyway. there are several writeups on the internet about these just google it.

Someone remembers the days of the Strip and the Boulevard...
Last time I was out there I was still impressed on the places that were left. Can't get too specific other than the Bow, Whisky and On the Rox. Oh not to mention :::cough cough::: The Body Shop, The Tropicana and the Veil...
