So, any time a motor stalls out in the 1st mile of driving that's proof positive of a blown head gasket AND the motor hydrolocked?

just to be clear the engine stalled but since then it has been starting and running without any kind of hesitation. i just haven't driven it since it happened to avoid any more damage.

I really like how djb383 takes things out of context and jumps to a faulty conclusion.

My apology to the OP for starting off with a simple diagnosis as a possibility to his problem. Firestorm500 could absolutely positively be correct with his diagnosis of a cracked head AND blown head gasket.....but something tells me the OP hopes he is not......and the solution to the problem is a simple one.

Exploratory surgery may be needed.

He might need a 3rd opinion.

I agree. Get 10 more. Next step is to check for hydrocarbons in the coolant.

He might need an 11th opinion, if the new head and gasket doesn't solve the problem.
