Rad. plug is on the pass. side of the rad at the bottom. It's easier to remove if you take the grille out. Not sure on the block plug, I never new there was one, But you could take the coolant temp. sensor out of the block to drain the coolant.

that was technically my question. i have never heard of the plug on the block. but would 50/50 do alright for a coolant swap?.. i heard there could be problems because i couldnt get all of the water out of the system.?

I always use 50/50. I think of it this way. The coolant put in before was 50/50 so all the coolant you cant get out should still be 50/50.

Well, think of it this way: The 4.0 engine hold 12 quarts of coolant (add 2.3 for the recovery tank) after the flush, put in as much 50/50 mix as you can. if it's a bit less than 12 quarts, drain the difference between how much you put in and the 12 quart total, and fill it with straight coolant. BAM! A perfect 50/50 coolant mixture! cuz whatever the difference was, is how much straight water you had in there, so, by adding that same amount of straight coolant, you get a perfect mixture.

there is actually 2 3/8" npt plugs one on the drivers side of the block IIRC, but youd have to remove int/exh manifolds to reach it, most likely wouldnt be visible then due to the crud on the block. Just a hint if you wanna flush it real good remove the old coolant and add a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar and run for a little while then drain, itll remove most of the rust and scale from the cooling system, depending on how new it is wouldnt be a bad idea to throw a new t-stat in.
