I will bullet point everything that is top of mind and attach a video as well. I'm asking if this is dire or if I can keep it at bay until I have enough funds to fix it. If it's an easy fix, please point me in the direction of a video on how to. I do have a service manual my uncle got me, but I just don't know what the parts I'm working with are called I only have about $1,500 in a car fund. Not nothing, but I'd love not to use that. I would have to use a mechanic because I do not have access to a garage or place to work on the car.
Considerations:
1. I've noticed small puddles of coolant form below the car. I kind of just thought it was no big deal. it looked like a small leak. Not oily. I carry coolant in my car so I could just top it off.
2. Yesterday, I was helping a friend move. hotter day. AC on blast. when I pulled up to his old apartment, everything was fine.
3. I drive 30 mins to his new place. the car is gushing coolant like it was sacrificed to a car deity. I hit a pothole (down in Nashville they are like craters), but I've hit them before and not had an issue. Figured I'd mention it in case y'all think that could've loosened something up.
4. I fill the reservoir with the emergency coolant gallon I keep in the car, drive 30 mins home, same speed. AC on while on the highway, off with windows down on the smaller roads.
5. No leak when I pull up to my place.

This is my scenario. Please help if you can : )

 

Is the coolant leaking through the oil pan gasket or is it coming from higher up on the engine?

Where was it gushing coolant from?

 

I did not see coolant from higher up in the engine bay. It looked like it was leaking along that seal (not sure what part of the engine that is) in the lower half (see #14?). I inspected the hoses I could readily see in the parking lot, and didn't see any leaking. Nor was there a big splash or puddle in the engine bay, so I don't believe it's spewing out anywhere or while I drive. If it is, it's lower and disappears while I drive.

 

Either the lower radiator hose is leaking, or the waterpump needs replaced. Look around where the upper rad hose and heater lines come off as well.
