Default Cooling system rebuild?

I am planning on doing a complete overhaul on my cooling system within the next couple weeks. By overhaul I mean drain, flush and fill, new coolant hoses, new water pump, and new thermostat. My Jeep has 145k on it and I have no idea when any of this was done and it would help me sleep at night knowing all of it is new. My question here is who makes a good thermostat and water pump? Thank you for your help.

The t-stat get an OEM and it should be 195deg. When I changed out my water pump I went with one from Auto Zone mainly for there lifetime warranty. I put it in 4 years ago and haven't had a single problem.

Unless u also include a new radiator and fan clutch, u haven't done a complete cooling system overhaul. I've never had an issue with Stant stats.

From a functionality stand point, the heater core is not part of the cooling system.

Sorry I haven't posted here in a little bit but I have been busy as hell with work, kind of sucks being a mechanic in a very active fleet. But anyway, I read somewhere that if I am replacing water pump I should replace the fan clutch too, is this true?

Might as well. Marginal cost, and fan clutches are a wearable item that need replacing eventually. A bad clutch will not engage when you are sitting in traffic and could cause/contribute to overheating.

You're the only one on the planet. LOL.

I've had enough problems with them to make up for the problems you didn't have.....

I went through 5 or 6 of them before getting the stat from the dealer, which solved the problem of no frickin' heat for many miles.
