I use Cooper STT and love them. Going into my 5th Wisconsin winter with them.

The STT is an awesome tire, I've never ran them, or had friends that ran them as small as a 30, but if you have the centers only siped they will handle ice and snow pretty good. My BFG KM2s are great in deep snow but even with the centers siped ice can be a problem.

The reason I only sipe the centers is so they don't chunk on rocks, so if you don't do rocks siping the full face will give you more traction.
