Default Cowl Leak: Inside Wiper Cowl?

Tearing to water leaks, fixing rust, you know, the usual...

Came across this. Not long ago, I replaced the seam seal under the fender and hood, but where this rust is at, it seems like i need to find a way to reach inside the wiper cowl and seal it from the inside, somehow. Before I go to the trouble of removing the wiper mech, I figured I'd ask...

Edit: Well maybe not so much leaking as rusting...

A few folks have resorted to cutting a window on the passenger side to access and reseal around the air intake under there. Otherwise a mirror long tools and/or skinny arms help.

Just a follow-up for anyone who may stumble upon this at some point in the future.

The answer is no, the cowl will not leak into the cab unless you have serious, serious issues.

You're probably looking under the hood at the pinch seam right above the brake booster. Take a screwdriver and feel around just behind the little lip on that pinch seam. You feel the flange on the firewall panel, which I wasn't "seeing" when trying to figure it all out. The main piece of the pinch seam is the bottom panel of the cowl, so no, the cowl will not leak into the cab unless you have serious, serious issues...
