ok I've got power to the pump, but no spark. 1 fuse is blown in the engine but we swapped it with another and still nothing. I do have fuel pressure though. I can't think of what this can possibly be. the pump is good
I've also got an important looking red wire under the dash that has no power. and a yellow one as well
what about camshaft position sensor? my Haynes is at the shop. could this be the issue? the "no spark" is throwing me off
I'm about to say screw it and get it towed tomorrow morning

So the pump has power, and it squirts fuel (into the rag), when you depress the schrader valve on the rail, (or check fuel pressure). "OBD" is on board diagnostics, which might actually work up till 96-97
1991-1995 are OBD-I (Chrysler)
1996-2001 are OBD-II (Chrysler)
The "Key Tricks"
Older (OBDI) models - Start with the ignition off. Within five seconds, switch the key on, off, on, off, on. ("On" is NOT "Start" and "Off" is NOT "Lock"). The "check engine" light will flash. Count the flashes. Each code is a two digit code, so a (for example) 23 would be FLASH FLASH (pause) FLASH FLASH FLASH (long pause). It will never flash more than 9 times, so watch for those pauses!

On my 90, it's important that the yellow off the ign. switch powers up. Also I have a yellow, (third one back), on my ICU that gives it it's 12V when the ign is on. On my ICU, the forth is also yellow, a 5V feed from (MY) ECU. You have a PCM...

had it towed in on tuesday and they checked it out
they said I had fluid backed up into the wiring harness? they cleaned and inspected it for 3 hours and finally bought parts and billed me
not only was this a fire hazzard but it caused ALL my sensors to short out and throw codes left and right
so I'm in it for $600 so far. I'm having them do a full inspection of the jeep just to be safe.
I could've thrown parts at it all day and never found that
