Tomorrow is my day off. I am going to get all my chores done with it. Tighten up the PDC connections, clean all connections/grounds and check all wiring for anything chaffed etc. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a loose wire causing my P1898 code !
Thanks for the help!

Hey folks. This was the first thread that popped up on Google regarding crank, no start, no spark. Ended up being my camshaft position sensor (located in the distributor). Much easier to access than the crankshaft position sensor (above the transmission bell housing).
Since I feared it was the far more difficult and hadn't read much about the camshaft sensor, I opted to bring it to my mechanic. With inadequate supplies and not enough patience. They fixed it right up (~$300 P&L), but I couldn't put a price on the peace of mind I got. They tried the crankshaft position sensor first and felt validated when that wasn't the issue.
I easily would've spent triple the time in labor that the shop did and I was able to put a full day of work in and not lose my mind chasing the Chrysler gremlins.
Plus the shop gave me feedback about the other parts I recently installed: plugs, wires, dist. cap&rotor, ignition coil, starter. Hopefully nothing else related goes out for a while! I've got 250K on the odometer. Nothing compared with some of you guys, but I just got it 3K ago lol. I spent all Sunday morning under the Jeep in the blistering heat installing a new starter. Worked like a champ for 2 days and then the sensor went caput.
I was pleased my mechanic had some time to get me on the road as the crankshaft position sensor would've been too much torture for the hottest day of the year.
Hope this helps somebody!
