You should go with "testing and diagnosing" instead of "shooting the parts cannon".

So I can verify 12v at the Green/orange wire going into the coil. It was just over 12v up to 14v.

Not sure what to check next.

I have a 2 channel oscilloscope I use to see these pulses live. Plenty of vids on u tube to show this diagnostic.

I already started throwing parts at it... all I have left to buy is a cam position sensor and then install that and the crank pos sensor, and the coil. After that, all I would have left is plugs, plug wires, and PCM (repair).

I found a multimeter / oscilloscope (combo) for $65. I need a better multimeter anyway. and this one will test the square wave from the Cam Pos Sensor and the Crank Pos Sensor.

See my posts re: Hantek esp. with 4x4jeepmanthing.

Actually, I have offered to loan my Hantek to anyone (with security deposit and they pay all postage).

We've talked a lot about 6022. For our purposes here probably better than 1008C.

Although if I had to do it now probably go with the entry level Pico.

Right now playing with a phone app for those days that might prove harmful to the laptop...

Did you check your oxygen sensor(s). I had somewhat similar issues and it was a bad upstream sensor.

Any vacuum leaks? I had a few leaks too and found them with a cigar.
