The first 2 pics are of the reservoir I removed and the last pic is one of the reservoir currently installed. Not factory installed, as I don't have a factory front bumper.
There is a 98 XJ at my local U-pull yard. If you run out of options, I could run up there first of the week to check/liberate it.
Depending on where you are, shipping should not be a problem.

I poked around myself. I did find the part number for the '97 and up one.
55035902.
For all the good it does. I remember not to long ago that I did find some new ones for sale.
But can't now. And it appears no aftermarket support either.
Nor could I find any on Ebay.
Now the '96 and down "hot dog" ones are everywhere.
Used on Ebay and plenty of aftermarket ones out there.
I did find this at my store.
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NDP8...cleAddPDP=true
But says it does not fit and looks like it is for Chevy's and GMC's.
Gotta say it looks real close.
Wonder if you could get it to work anyway?

Try a vacuum reservoir for a 86-95 Mustang. They used a ball reservoir like that.
Just checked ebay. There are quite a few for Jeep, and Ford. "jeep vacuum ball reservoir", and "ford vacuum ball reservoir".

I'll check out the Mustang ones. All that I see on eBay for Jeep say they're for the older XJ.

NOE parts at Napa are just rebranded Dorman parts.
I am just guessing here but think the Dorman part number is 47083.
So I looked around. I will be the first too admit that Napa can be a little pricey.
But if I am right about the Dorman part number it is actually cheaper at Napa then the other big box stores.
But then there is RockAuto.
