Does this look right? I got National #710069,(from Car Quest)for at the differential for the left. and SKF #15843,(from Napa) for outside the Disco for the right.
The ID of the left is about 1-1/16, and the right ID is about 1-7/16.
EDIT; THESE ARE CORRECT. I GATHER THE NUMBER FOR THE LEFT IS ALSO A TIMKIN #

Thanks! I'm a ways to town with the only motorcycle if I pull it apart and don't have the correct stuff. I didn't remember the inner of the stub at the disco being so large.
I needed to buy some all thread. Have 2-1/2 quarts and a new tube of RTV black. I Suppose I'm good to go.
Hey..I guess I'll need to at least move the inner 1/2 axle on the right to remove the carriage to do the seal on the left? Thoughts?

The inner seal on the drivers side is right inside the pumpkin, not hard to get to at all. That's a few minute job, comparatively.
You got this. Make sure you picked up some diff fluid! Didn't see it on your list, I'm sure it was a given ha.
Edit: And a case of beer.

Thinken' it through...If a guy with a disco wants to do his left, he might as well do the right since the inner right needs to come out to get after the left seal.
10-4 Trans AM. "2-1/2 quarts", is how much gear oil I have here. Really I could start right now. Just not looking forward to it. The U-joint on the right fought me every mm.

I changed just the joint on the right months ago. Now that axle leaking. I saw another poster talking about so much junk in the "dry" axle, that he actually pushed crap into his differential installing his axle. Here w/Disco, I might have pushed crap into THAT.
Then about three days after I changed the bad right joint that I had been hearing for about 5 years, the left joint acted up.

2 of three axles, and hubs are off, as well as the carriage caps.
I'm gonna need to extract that inner 1/2 axle. Maybe through the disco I can move it over enough to remove the carriage, then push it the rest of the way through the left tube with a pipe or broom handle or something?
Anyway, the same trick worked popping the hubs with the power steering and a long 3/8 extension in the front hole. Bent one again. Maybe with a helper I wouldn't need to straighten it again. (a slightly shorter rod might contact so as not to bend it)
(that joint just looks wet because I hit it with PB)
