Adjusted the shims for the pinion depth. This is the wear pattern i got. These gears are used/worn in already with probably 150k plus miles. i just replaced the bearings so I don’t know how perfectly in the middle the wear pattern is supposed to be?

Engine: 4.0, new lifters valve job with new springs and exhaust valves, preload set with shims

From the one time I did it, that looks pretty darn good.
