I already hate being under a vehicle that doesn't have all 4 wheels on the ground 😬 I will have to check mine tomorrow.

Taking mine back today. The part number is rubbed off so hopefully they can tell. If not then in the scrap pile they go. Won't trust them not knowing for sure.

I had the bad 6 tons, but my 3 tons were good. This is why I always keep an extra set of stands plus the floor jack under the axle as well.

Returned my brand new sealed in the box 6 tons today.
Could not get a cash refund though. Not surprising. Since they were purchased so long ago.
I did talk to the manager. He told me the state required it to be a gift card.
I think he was pissing on my leg and telling me it was raining when he said that. LOL.
Did make out with about $11 then I actually paid for them though.

Ha. I just walked in with two jack stands in hand, and walked up to the register. She knew what I was there for. I just said, "I understand there's a safety recall on these." and pointed to the number. SHe looked at the number, said: "Yep. I'll get your refund." and called over a manager. I got a gift card, too, but she said it was because they are out of stock on them. I believe that.

No problem. I will spend it some time in the near future.

Since I have the one set of Lincolns I don't see the sense in replacing the 2 sets of 6 tons.
Thinking won't be buying any big ticket items from Harbor Freight so it is going to take a bit
to spend the $85.
I did ask. The gift card does not expire.

This is exactly what I was told to, so used the gift card for a new air hose and some other misulanious things. Ended up going to Walmart and picked up a set of Black Jack 6 ton stands. They seam well built and sturdy. The jeep has been on them for a few days now.
