Dash/environmental/ PRNDL lights
Just bought another XJ. Done a bunch of work to it so far. Issue I’m having is the dash, environmental control, and PRNDL lights aren’t coming on. Previous owner said they worked before I got it (bought in day time) so I fudged something somewhere. I have a known bad PCM but I don’t think that would cause it. Checked continuity of all fuses and were good, lightbulbs for all were good, and wiring for the aftermarket radio is good. Thoughts??? Also replaced the light switch just in case. Wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts before I started chasing wires

I have. It’s a brand new switch. That was my initial thought. And yes I also tested the switch to make sure the new one wasn’t a dud. All I’ve done to since I’ve gotten it was the switch, rear main seal, and shoot wires to determine if I had a bad PCM or not (which it does) I haven’t touched any other wiring prior to that. Removed the aftermarket radio previous owner installed and that looks to be done correctly. Not sure what I could’ve done if the lights worked prior to me buying it

i will triple check all fuses again but they all passed the continuity test. I didn’t test the actual fuse box so I guess I could do that. I’m just stumped as to what it could be if they worked prior to me getting it. I had the battery off the entire time I was doing the work and shooting wires to test for the pcm so there’s no reason I could’ve fried a wire somewhere
