hello all, before I start to look in the wrong place which is the more the likely cause for my 2001 Cherokee sport "part time' dash indicator not to light? thanks

Yeah, my bulb I suspect has been out for a few years now..
As long as you feel it pullin or bucking you're good to go...

Default part time indicator
I found the switch for the light in the transfer case, and it fixed the problem.

the light should light up briefly when you turn the key on to start the car if not chances are it's a faulty bulb
