I notice for the above link, if I enter 89 Cherokee LTD as the vehicle make/model in the compatibility section, I receive the following message:
"This part is not compatible with 1989 Jeep Cherokee Limited Sport Utility 2-Door 4.0L 242Cu. In. l6 GAS OHV Naturally Aspirated."

I wonder if 'it' 'thinks' the 89 has daytime running lights (which it doesn't - at least, the Canadian model doesn't).

It all still works.

Never trust those compatibility boxes. The lister often doesn't put everything its compatible with. It will work on anything with sealed beams or h4s.
