What lights are suppose to come on wen u turn the key on the only light that comes on is the seat belt light and the e brake light over on the left side but nothing else I dont an engine check light
I have an 89 4.0l auto
Could someone take a pic of what dash lights come on wen they put the key in the on position

thats about all you have no check engine light on renix era xjs 87 thru 90

There is a plug but it's pre obd1
Renix reader is the only thing that will read em and only while the jeep is running since these comps don't store codes.

Yup. Renix is OBD-0, as in nada, zilch, nuttin'..

correct thats all ive ever had ive had mine 15 years now unless you have abs there most likely a socket for that

Im is the same way. i have a 88 mj. I can see where the check engine light and other things are but have never lit up

Yeah theres a cel spot but no bulb
There is also the shift indicator, full time, part time (depends on tcase)
