As far as your drls, they can be disabled. Find the module and remove the speed snsor wire from the connector. It is a white/oarnge wire in pin#7 of the drl module. Everything else will work fine with this removed

so many cars I see that have Daytime Driving lights on in the dark, and no other lights! And our cops pull them over to tell them to start up thier lights, and let them go! If the driver does not speak english, the cops let them go anyways!!

It's simple. People see their dash light up and never question if their night lights are on. I see nissans in the rain with no headlights cause the auto sensor still picks up light and in ny wipers on headlights on

Problem is, DRL doesn't light up the IP, either.

And if they can't tell that the blue pilot for the full beams is on when driving in town, it's obvious that they're not even looking at the damned IP - which is why they don't notice that it isn't lit.

Then again, California also seems to foster the mentality that putting a 5" "monster tach" with functioning upshift indicator lamp in a CRX with a bloody automatic transaxle is a useful idea!

(Yes, I saw this. Yes, I had to get a good look in to confirm - but it was easy enough. He'd dropped the thing three inches, I was in my 87 with 3" and 31's, so I got a good view down into the thing. What? F****** what?)
