Don't know if I spelled that right, but...
What are the Pro's and cons in between C825,D30, D35, and D44
Opp's and transmission
I have D35 on mine. It's got a great granny gear IMO, but in my last one which was a auto ( so the wife could drive it ) trans. I thought sucked and it was a sport model???
Either way thought it would be interesting to learn the differance from you guys
Thanks

The 44 has 30 spline shafts and a 8.5" ring.
The 35 is just weak
The 35c is worse, it has c-clips.
8.25 is good, better than all but 44.
44 also doesn't have c clips, so your axle doesn't have the opportunity to walk away from the jeep.
I love my 87 xj 44 lol

Ha! Love your "info". The only "Air freshener" I have is the *-hole cat, (who sometimes I wish was hanging from the mirror).
"granny" would be when you put the transfer case in low range. I don't know diffs' well. I think of what you listed, the higher the # the tougher! I'd search the different Forums, there's tons on that.

One google and it all came up
Thanks for the spellcheck
Thanks for the gear check
So it would seem that I need to swap out the axle. Good enough I'm no machinic so sorry for not knowing enough to ask ( my dumb questions )correctly but I've replaced the hole cooling system on one jeep, and done many u-joint, and brakes that's got at be worth something.
Just asking for knowledge from y'all and now I know the differance between the differentials( yeah I spelled it that time hehehehe I also learn of possible length differance with drive shafts. And all kinds of other related things
Then the excuse : the doctor just started me on some strong pain meds . Today I used a few and couldn't thinkin' right :0

Rooling lauffing! Truth be told, in these years here on this forum is where I learned to spell and type, somewhat. ( I had an alteriour motive besides just learning about my Jeeps) Btw, words not in spell-check, like "alteriour", can be found with Google! IE; Did you mean "rubber" duck?"
