did a Alternator upgrade

Find a local alternator and generator rebuilder. I bought a kit for my stock Delco CS-130 and upped the amperage to 240 for under a $100, the guys @ Denver Generator just talked me through it. Granted, we were once neighbors, but I'm willing to bet you can find the same guidance in exchange for a few brews. The amperage of your alternator may get to a point that you'll need 2000 RPM before it actually puts out max, or has more draw on your engine via the belt. Add up all your electronic's amperage and decide how much of an upwind you need. Then double that for initial startups of fans, etc, & future accessories.
