Not sure where to be askin this. Anyway while i was driving week ago jeep just died and wont start anymore. And the catalytic converter was on fire. Looking for any insight as to why it wont start. There is no spark no codes. Didnt see any burt wiring yet. Thats about all i have checked so far any help please. Im stumped

Are the injectors working? Sounds like maybe they were, and you were dumping fuel into the exhaust. I'd suspect a bad coil if the injectors are going but no spark at the distributor coil wire.

 

Don't know if you have an automatic or not but when my jeep did not start, I accidentally discovered if I turn the key and jiggle the shifter, I was able to start the jeep. The trick lasted almost a year. Problem turned out to be the neutral safety switch went bad, swapped out maybe 9 years ago and have been fine since. Hope this helps.
