Ebay-$6.50 free shipping. Kregan/O'Malleys, not offered. $53 CORE charge on a Caliper. BASTARDS! My Napa offers the ring but it's not in stock. They have been good, $25 a side (and my good calipers) will get me going.

To finish. I have the smaller tires, the 215. With new rotor, caliper, and pads, run in just a few miles, warm, romped on, then jacked up, I get a little less than 1 1/2 spins when I give the wheel a good heave.

My guess is the old ring had swollen over the years. Ebay has them very cheap, but since I didn't have time I bought one encased in an identical caliper whth nice shiny black paint for under $25. (and, of course my caliper).

Silver lining, you get actual 6 sided hex bolts on that, instead if those silly boogers that need vice grips to get off They don't come with the dust cap for the bleeder nipple. Nowhere does it say made or refurbished in the USA , although the pads where. Thanks to you all, (everybody was right!), Don
