Disposable Income...For Once
Hey guys (and gals?) I finally have some disposable income (about 300-500ish) to blow on my Jeep thanks to the jolly fat man with the white beard, vacation payout, and fantasy football, and I'm torn on what to do with it.
What I have: 96 XJ DD, 3" lift, newer 31" tires (getting new wheels for them as the rear 2 are out of round), fabbed rear tire carrier, Dynomax catback and Magnaflow cat, otherwise stock
What I'm considering/looking for: A buddy of mine got me neon injectors (703s) for xmas, so I'm thinking of "completing" the performance end of things by installing a 62/63mm bored throttle body and pacesetter headers with new crossover pipe. I'm not looking for a racecar, but with my stock 3.07 gears i'd like to not have to downshift so much on every hill.
In the works: My other options were if I could find a decent set of 97-01 diffs out of an auto so I could get the 3.55 gears and lower mileage rears.
What i'm not looking to do (yet): Lift it higher. The tires are new, and its my DD so i'm looking for weekend/dayjob installs.
Thanks for your opinions, thats basically all i'm looking for, and thanks for reading the book I just wrote!

Haha, I'll take that under advisement. Axles seem like they'd provide the most immediate difference that i'd feel the most, any tips on how to tackle the front uca/lcas? I have poly bushings I bought a while ago for them, but I never ended up putting them in. I'd heard/read that using a hole saw to remove the old bushings was the easiest way to go..
