Maybe you're losing fuel pressure? Or it could be your ballast resistor, have you tried that? Cheap fix.

ok so here is the update,
when I got back to atl and tried to start the jeep was dead, jumped and ran fine, as I was driving it cut off again had to jump one more time and got to the shop we are working on the jeep at, put a tester to the computer as the jeep was running and the tester did not see anything, no reading coming from the computer, swapped the coolent sencer leads which were bad and then checked the dist pulled it out and was bad had a crack on the side also seems this was the wrong one installed. the hold down bolt was cut and there was a hold down plate being used, also got the plug from a junk yard and the guy there told me that it came off a grand. put it in and no crank but it tries to start, the tester was saying crank and cam not reading replaced the crank and still nothing, we are going to put it at top dead and see if that works. wondering is there any other computer or sencer that might cause this, am hearing a popping sound coming from the pass side and once that happens the jeep would start.

again thank you for all your input and help on this.
