Question Distributors

So my stock Distributor just took a dump. So I was wondering if anyone has good recommendations for an aftermarket distributor. Not looking to get a cheap Clown auto replacement.

It's really hard to make a recommendation. So much junk out there new and "rebuilt".

I'd be tempted to find a used one at the junkyard.

Look into Kolak's ignition kit. Kolak is/was a prominent member over on JeepForum and sold these kits like 10 years ago. Not sure if he still does or not. If anything, it will give you a good lead to research to find quality parts.

I always liked Mallory dizzies but not even sure if they're still around, much less whether they're still any good.

Honestly I got one at Advance years back and it was brand new not expensive very good quality and the only issue was the internal cam sensor was a low quality but I replaced that one with a junkyard mopar and it’s been great, ignition has no problem advancing up good power rpm’s
