does an aw4 have a sunshell?
I ask because my dad had a blazer and he always shifted while still moving and cracked them all the time and i accidentally did the same today with backing up into a busy street and jammed it into drive while moving it hurt.....

If it is still working fine I wouldn't worry about it, I have seen the AW4 take some major abuse by people going from reverse to drive quickly when rocking it out of a mud hole and it held up fine.
