Wow Dana provided excellent customer service on my issue. I don't think I can delete this thread so I am updating it.

Sadly Dana didn't actually follow through with what they promised.

I'm bummed. I managed to reach someone at Dana. They said they were shipping out a replacement axle shaft and would send me a tracking number. I was stoked and updated my original post that I had gotten help. It's now been 20 days with no tracking number and they've ghosted me and my emails asking for a status. I waited thinking maybe the storms impacted them but they'd have an auto reply set at least by now if that was the case.

So now I have to buy another axle shaft and don't want to spend another $300 on Dana seeing as they don't honor their warranty. Can anyone recommend someone else? What's people's opinion on USA Standard Gear's chromoly? It uses the Dana u-joint but the warranty would go through USA Standard Gear so hopefully they will honor it if there's an issue.

I have had right and left front shafts from them for 2 years and have had no complaints.

Thanks for posting that. It's good to hear. Think I will go that route. Do you know if I can mix and match? I already have L/R Danas and only the drivers side came bad.
