Default Does my heater core be replaced?

Since I've been reading through and responding to some posts on here about where to find a good heater core, I was wondering if mine needs replaced or I have a different problem. The air doesn't get very warm until the Jeep is fully heated up (210 F) and my windows are fogging up. Does my system need flushed or something? I'm not very familiar with this so advice is appreciated.

Do you have cold AC? If so, and you switch to Heat but no heat is delivered, then either your blender door is not switching from cold to hot, for whatever reason (bad vacuum actuator), or your heater core is clogged. Rotate (exercise) your temp selector switch from cold to hot and back with your fan on high and listen for a change in the sound of the air delivery, which means the door is moving. If there's an audible change, then I'd probably back-wash the core by removing the hoses from their source up in front of the engine and directing a water hose into one hose, then the other, to see if the core is free-flowing. Also, there's a possibility your AC/Heater controller took a dump.

Go here to PDF page 674 for a reference illustration of the AC/Heater unit inside the truck, and PDF page 703 for an illustration of the controller. The core and hoses are illustrated in-between those pages.

Chances are you need a new heater core. If it's leaking then it is actually blowing steam out off the vents and that steam is condensing on your windows.

can you smell anything unusual when you turn the heat on?

**Do you have a "sweet smell" inside of the cab when your windows fog up? That is a sure sign of a heater core leak. And that necessitates replacement, don't use a stop leak product.

**Is level of anti-freeze at the correct spot on the coolant reservoir?

**Have you been having to add any coolant to the reservoir?

A/C doesn't work in my Jeep, but it does blow cold air and warm/hot air if I switch.to it. I do not hear an audible change.

No smells, which is what is throwing me off.

The level of anti-freeze is normal and no coolant level has remained the same for the past 6 months. Also, there are no stains underneath the glovebox.
