Door check arms.

Are the door check arms for a 2 dr. different? If they're the same as either the front or the back door arms of a 4 dr. I'd like to know what to look for at the junk yard.

Now, I'll throw a monkey wrench in the works.
You can use the rear ones on the front. Just swap out the flat pieces. while they're out, sand them smooth.
There are some year differences in door checks. be aware of that.

Just did the check strap for my left front door last weekend. You have to remove the trim panel and speaker for access. Getting the old one out wasn't too bad, but getting the new one in was quite an adventure. I found running wire through the link slot in the door jamb and then through the pin hole in the link, I could drag the assembly up to the slot, and then it went ALOT quicker.
