Door handles pull type recommendations
These push button door handles are becoming stiff to operate. Looking around I found where some have converted to WJ pull handles. Has anyone here attempted this change or have any recommendations to reduce the effort required for the push button linkage?
Thanks
Thanks

I just spray WD40 into the outside button and operate it a few time. The drivers side rear door wouldn't unstick itself for a few weeks. Did the WD40, opens better than the others. Not saying its good forever but its a start until you make other arrangements

Thanks guys, I know this is a simple problem to resolve.
I look to the CF for input as someone here might have found a better solution.
Andrewmp6 I originally found that Jeepforum post as well.
Figured a CF'r might have tired it as well.

Was of course there's a better solution or an upgrade. We drive jeeps. As long as you're willing to cut up your jeep and aren't *****footed with it, anything can be accomplished. I'm just saying to use the wd40 for now so you can use the doors all the while doin the research for the upgrade

I had trouble with my rear doors being real hard to open to the point where everyone else thought my back doors were always locked.
Point being after a little investigation trying to lube up the mechanism from inside the door I noticed that there were two screws that had come loose. They screw into plastic and had split it, so I put some lock tite on the screws screwed them back in and bam doors opened like new. It's been about 2 maybe 3 years since I did this and the doors open easily still, maybe not like they did right after I did it but still a hell of a lot easier.
Like I said it's been a few years so I don't remember all the details, open up those door panels and have a look for yourself.
