if you're referring to my post about taking some off the rear, I was talking about the bracket not the whole assembly just he part that the pin goes through because the hole wasn't wallowed out.

Make sure to use grease or something similar for lube. Wd40 or other spray liquid lubes just don't work. Super lube makes a good dry lube. The pb blaster dry lube is kinda messy. Lithium grease works best but a lot of crap sticks to it.that will quiet the popping pins as it fills the gaps and for the rollers it will quiet the nasty scraping.

And as far as doorless goes I just keep my pins loose and still use the straps when my doors are on
