Default Door Panel switch board replace

Having trouble explaining it - pictured below. I’m seeing if the plastic piece surrounding the switches can be replaced without breaking anything. Does it unsnap/clip in? The scenario is that I’m doing a limited interior swap - this piece of the door card I’m looking to buy is messed up. If I buy it, I’d want to use my clean piece to replace their bad piece. Can I remove this piece only without ruining the door card?

I’ve removed and replaced door panels and I have a good sense of what’s back there. Just haven’t taken one apart before.

appreciate any insight/instructions!!

I have pulled this off but it tough to do without breaking the plastic.
20+ year old brittle plastic and all.
Had tons of extra front panels so when I was unsuccessful moved on to a different one.
And finally managed to get it done.
The clips in the picture practically snapped off just by looking at them. LOL.

A dab of silicone rtv might be useful to retain the bezel if the clips is broken.

You need to take your door panel off first. There are some screws that hold the switch panel into the door panel. Completely remove the switch panel and it will make it much easier to see the tabs so you can "carefully" remove the cover over the switch panel. Trying to do it with the door panel still on almost screams failure IMHO.
