The two-door doors are heavier yeah. I've picked up a regular xj door and it's not that much different than my TJ's full steel doors.

If you decide to do the doorless thing then do a writeup with a lot of pics. Then when someone else asks we can refer them to your writeup.

the only reason more ppl dont remove their doors is because of sagging or theyre lazy, i would offroad like that much, i have but it has presented no problems. when i do a fix for the supposedly-inherent saggage ill be sure to do a write-up. I plan on reaming out the door-side hinges to match the bore of the body-side hinges, then get steel rods like quick pins and get rid of the ****ty bolts i have been using....

I used to remove my doors on the tj all the time, even in the winter. Since i got the xj, it just didn't feel the same. I could if i wanted to but doesn't feel right. It's a wrangler thing i guess but it's cool to see the xj's doorless. Kinda unique.

i wonder: has anyone with a 2 door done the removable door thing? planning on doing it this summer, and wondering if that heavier door might sag more?
