Hello,

I have a 2000 Limited. Black on black. Drivers and rear drivers doors are ****, and I am looking to replace them. Can I just replace them with any old door? For example from a 97 XJ? Or 89 XJ? Or is there size differences with different years so I have to use a specific year? Please let me know.

Also, same thing for the trunk. Currently there is a 97 trunk I'd like to buy as a replacement but idk if theres a size difference on that as well.

Just the '97 and up for everything.
My passenger side doors on my '00 XJ, which is also black, are rusted pretty good at the bottom.
Came across 4 doors off a Black '99 for $100. The 2 I need are not perfect but much better then what I am dealing with.
The paint is OK but want to see if I can bring it back some and see if you won't notice any difference with the rest of the Jeep.
Jeep is not perfect so should not be a problem.

Those doors look pretty good! Im more concerned with the actual quality and structure of the doors and such. I'm planning on sanding down the whole jeep and rhino lining the entire body. But my current doors have little chunks missing from the bottoms

Mine on the Jeep don't sound that bad but the lip on the inside is pretty much non existent on the 2 passenger ones.
Not to mention rust under the paint on the outer skin.
At least you are Rhino Lining the whole Jeep. So you don't care about the color of the doors.
These were on Craigslist local to me. Between them being black, again not perfect but much better shape then mine, and $100 I said screw it.
Plus I got extra switches, door panels, one door still had the heated mirror, and the back doors had Privacy Glass in them so.....
I can probably sell some of this stuff for a couple bucks at some point.
I have to give the door panels a once over but with some luck I might be able to get $100 for them.
And since my interior is Camel and not Agate have no use for them.
