Is there a diffrence in the size of the drive shaft or the yoke between a automatic 98 sport and a manual one?!

I bought the jeep without the drive shaft in it but the guy said the one he gave me was the right one, but it all seems short. any advice?

I thought the manual was longer since the manual trans is a good bit shorter than an auto.
