And that man is me. I drive a 98 Cherokee Classic. I removed the driver side door actuator today because...why not? It was buzzing/not locking/unlocking and because I’m a genius I figured brake cleaner and a full tear down/rebuild would solve that particular issue. Only problem is I really didn't pay attention while I was taking it apart and after a few beers I REALLY wasn’t paying attention when it was going back together. So I bolted it back to the door and shut the door and now it won’t open from either side. Short of drilling lots of holes in it and banging it out from the inside of the door panel, I’m not sure what I can do. Is there a less violent way to get that thing out of there or to get the door open so my wife can drive her car this week? Reaching out to you guys and gals because I’ve done a lot of work to my Jeep using only this website as a resource. Many thanks.
