Default Driver Window Doesn't Work, Absolutely No Noise Inside Door Panel

I've got a 1994 Cherokee Country with window issues that I'm having trouble tracking down. Here's the deal:

None of the passenger windows work from their switches, nor do the automatic locks (this may/may not be related to what I think is the driver lock appearing to be unplugged in the door panel). All of the passenger windows work from the driver master switch.

The driver window does not work at all and is currently stuck completely down - it cannot be manually moved. I replaced the driver master control switch as some of the switches were physically broken anyway, with no difference. When you try and move the driver window up or down via the switch, there is absolutely no noise coming from anywhere in the door panel and that includes the window motor, it's silent.

I think there is power to the wires going into the motor, if I did the test on my multimeter correctly (can somebody confirm how I should be testing this?). I've checked for any split/frayed wires in the door panel and in the boot in between the door and chassis and all wires are in great condition.

Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Is it the motor, the regulator, some wire somewhere else I haven't looked? What specifically should I test and how should I go about testing it?

You would check the two motor terminals for power while someone holds the switch to move the window. There should be 12v or near to it. Have you cleaned the contacts on all the plugs for windows and locks? They have a tendency to corrode and have too much resistance for operation. Dielectric grease works wonders. Put it on everything to avoid future issues.

I'll recheck the terminals when I get home.

Just to clarify for a dummy like me, I should plug the wire connector into the terminals of the motor, insert the ground + pos of the multimeter into each wire (at the back end of the connector), turn on the multimeter (to what specifically and on AC/DC?), then check the switch?

There are two big 'plugs' for the windows and locks going into the master control switch, and I've sprayed each with electrical contact cleaner quite a bit, or were you referring to the other control switches on the other doors? I haven't gotten there yet, making the windows accessible for the other passengers isn't high on the priority list right now, I just wanted to make everything known to you guys. After I get this driver window at least back up (hell doesn't even matter if it works, I just want the window up at this point) I'll start fixing all of the little issues with this Jeep, starting with the other windows and locks.

Thanks for your help so far!

You will need to set the meter to DC in the appropriate volt range for 12v. You can unplug the motor and test the plug end that goes back up to the switch. Hit the switch and you should see voltage.

I was recommending all electrical connectors on the car. Every time I have something apart I clean and coat with dielectric grease just because it works so good. I wouldn't start taking everything apart just to do it though. If the individual window controls aren't important then don't worry about them.

Also,

Just happened across this thread. You may find it useful down the road when you get to the individual controls for passenger doors
