Drivers window stuck open, Tstorms coming tomorrow
So drivers window is stuck all the way down, pressing the button all I get is clicking as if something is slipping but no movement. I've had this clicking before but usually the window would just fight it and eventually after a few seconds go up. All other windows work from drivers door panel and I've tried to shimmy the window while pressing the button, I've tried going up and down but won't move. Took the door panel off. Any advice? Thanks guys because thunderstorms are in the forecast for tomorrow.

If a t-storm is actually coming, seal the window with a heavy duty garbage bag on the inside and outside with some good quality tape.
Check the master switch for any solder fractures and diagnose from there

One of mine gets stuck if I put it all the way down. Need to pull it up a little manually then the regulator will catch and it'll go up. Pull the panel off if you need to

Got the panel off, I've tried pushing up pulling up and shaking it back and forth while pushing the button

I would disassemble and check to see what the problem is. The plastic frame on the window likes to crack on the 97+ models (mine did)
While its apart, plug the regulator and switch back in and work the regulator back/forth. I sprayed a lot of PB Blaster through because mine was rusty, and the window opens much faster than it did before (also used silicone spray on the window channels).
If the regulator is fine, and the frame is fine, reassemble and test everything again - it is possibly bound up or slipped off the track somehow.

This is why I like the manually roll windows, never had an issue. I LIKE EM OLD SCHOOL. But yes if you can't figure it out, like many people said garbage bags with heavy duty tape asap.

The clicking sound you hear is probably the regulator drive wheel slipping on the plastic "tape" that moves the window up and down. Some times the plastic between the holes in the "tape" splits allowing the regulator drive wheel "nubs" to slip without meshing with the "tape". When this happens the "tape" cannot move the window. Hope this helps.
