Drivers Window won't roll down
I looked for an answer to this and I'm having trouble tracking it down if someone can point me in the right direction.
1996 XJ, picked it up 3-4 months ago, and the Window did not roll down on the drivers side when I got it. All of the the other power windows are working correctly.
Looking for assistance troubleshooting.
Thanks

I'm guessing you're talking about the drivers side front?
I believe the wiring goes straight from the switch and to the motor so you're going to need to take the door card off and get at the wiring.
Unplug the wire to the window motor and check with a multimeter on it's 2 connectors. When you move the switch to up, you should see either + 12V or - 12V, and then when down see the opposite reading. If you do, the switch is most likely working and your issue is with the motor. If you can get wires on there, you can directly power the motor with a live and negative feed and test the motor itself that way.
If the motor works when directly powered, check the connector for any corrosion and check the wires in the harness back to the switch for any damage. Also check the connector on the back of the window switch for corrosion on its contacts.
