Ive got a couple questions for you buddy, first off how long and how difficult was it to replace your U-joints and secondly were the U-joints the same on both the drive shafts I.E. same part number?

I only did the U-joints on the rear shaft, which were the same. It took me about an hour to figure it all out, though i'm sure next time it won't take me any longer than half an hour now that i know what i'm doing. This video really helped me figure out how to remove them:
(try to ignore the guys annoying voice...)
and here's another one for installing:
I did exactly what he did, and it took hardly any time at all. I think there's a different part number for the front shaft since they had the option for front or rear shaft at autozone.

Thanks for all the info, my Pops was saying how if you havent done it before its a pain in the *** because they have to be pressed in but Ive done a 5 speed swap in a rear wheel drive car before and didnt think it would be to hard to replace the U-joint. Do you have the part number still? I wanna make sure I get the right ones before I immobilize my truck.

Sure, part number is:
1-0153DL
and that's the duralast brand. If you do any heavy wheeling, you might want to get something a little more hardcore. I went cheap-o since mines' mostly a pavement princess and I'll be selling it soon.
