I know the fans must be against the core, but the brackets I was talking about could easily be bent in a way that they curve around the upper brace and connect to the fan. Basically, have the fan sit where it needs to be, and make a trace of how a bracket would need to be shaped to connect the fan to the brace. Lol, this is one of those few strokes of brilliance I manage to pull from my head every now and then.

Do you have them set up as pullers or pushers? (pulling air through the radiator or pushing air through the radiator)

They have to be set up as pullers. Most fan blades can be flipped either way.

They are pullers. Fans can be reversed by switching the ground and hot wires.
