So upon further inspection the weld was bad from the factory. I found that it had pulled away, and not taken a slug of steel with it. Any of you that know welding, know it should've pulled a plug of steel with the weld. Anyway, got it as close to in place as I could and welded it. Due to the location and surrounding obstacles I was not able to get a pretty bead in there, but I got a strong bead, and in it's given location, I don't care what it looks like, so long as it's strong!! Then I coated it in some flat black spray paint. I did not find any other problems with the rest of the mounts. I do not think that this caused the DW, but rather was caused by the DW!! Now that I have been told that the steering box has slack, I have been obsesing about that when I drive it!! I think that I can actually feel the tires turning without any input from the steering wheel when I hit a bump. Well that's one thing off the list!! Two more things, steering box, and drag link end link and I should be good to go.........I hope!!

I believe worn tie rods initially started my DW problems, but caused wear on the box so now the box is causing the DW problems. I tightened up the box on mine as it was causing wandering problems as well, but that is only a bandaid as the box is definately in need of replancement.

I think it was a combination of all this stuff that has caused it to continue to be an issue. I have gotten it to go away in the past, but it always felt like it was right under the surface when I was driving it.I would always tell myself that it was me, and to quit obsessing over it, but it would always come back! I hope when I get done I'll have replaced everything that it could've been, and it will be gone forever!! After I get done with the last two things, I REALLY won't have a clue as to what to do next, if it's not gone!! I really appreciate all of the input throughout this ordeal, and will post my findings, whatever they may be, when I get the steering box and drag link end link replaced. BTW, what are they chances that I can adjust the slack out of the steering box?? Some guys at work said that could be an option. Let me know if it's even worth foolin with!! Later guys!!

Hey Blue, as I thought, it's still there. Like I said before, it was bad from the factory and may have been broke for awhile. IDK, it's welded now, that's for sure!! For now, I going with JY parts to get back on the road. I'll do a write up on that, as well as the upgrade that I have planned down the road. I just want to get this fixed for now, I have too much other stuff to worry about. It would be a bad time to find out that it would not turn as tight as it should, and I know that a stocker will get me through the rest of the season. Later!!
