Dynomat Heat thingy
Okay so I cut the carpet out of my jeep, as if that wasn't a pain in the ***, now how do I get rid of that silver stuff on the floor I'm going to bedline over it with Herucliner. AND How do I get rid of the sticky stuff let over from the removal of that dynomat....

That is a good one. i know that dyno mat stuff does not stick well when the metal is cold. Maybe you can remove it the same way? you may have to use a putty knife and scrape it off. As for getting the sticky stuff off use brakeclean or a spray paint remover just dont get it on paint you want to stay on. Good luck!

about to do the same thing...
Hey just wondering if there were any lesson's learned, with yanking the carpet. I am about to do the same yank it all and lay down the rhino liner. Did you have to remove all the molding peice's? About how long did it take you? Thanks

That worked but only for the very thin sticky residue, once it hit heavy stuff it would cause the wire wheel to move to the left and right violently... Any other ideas, I removed the one in the passenger front and thats the only one im going to remove after this i will just bedline over the others...

putty knife and cold someone agrees with me. your not gonna get it off very easily with anything else its made to not come off. (Unless you had a scraper blade that goes in a sawsall or something think i have seen the windshield guy at work use something like that a time or two. Hmmm

the film remover is what we use at the hospital.. it takes off glue, tape, calking, paint, tar, residue, sharpie, and if your not careful... your hand's epidermis layer...
If you can't get that you could try mineral spirits or PB blaster. If you don't want the smell then try 99% isopropyl alcohol.
